According to Vanguard news, Chief Adebanjo who was accused of committing a treasonable offence by NDF, insisted that he would not recognise President Muhammadu Buhari as winner of the 2019 presidential election even if it means him going to jail now. Furthermore, he stated that President Buhari was declared president by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), but Buhari is not the rightful winner of the election unless the supreme court validates him.
